Oil pastels are not really pastels, and color like cheap waxy crayons. The watercolor markers are worthless. Stick to crayola bran.
The easle part is so flimsy that when it is propped and a child tries to write on it, it just bends - virtually useless. The easel stand is very flimsy, not a sturdy work surface at all.
