It did start out diffusing more through the top than it does now but i have never read any instructions or directions so

Take note the timer lights do not match the color of the led light except the green they remain green the entire time and will remain lit if you turn off the colored led light

This is an annoyance since my so cant stand to have any light while he is sleeping and it just doesnt match itself
