I had made a few mistakes when i first bought it i ovefilled the bulb past the filament which apparently lets the oil down into the hole thingy and then i basically didnt clean it for like years

I soaked both pieces in isopropyl alcohol for like 48 hours and i used a very tightknit high quality qtip dipped in alcohol and then rung out to touch up the inside of where the glass part sits

This system is made of glass and the base is wood

Find that it works better with thinner oils so if i have something a little thick will mix it with another thinner oil
