Pros

Washing rice completely erases this issue! To remove excess starch from rice, cover the rice with water and swish rapidly and thoroughly for 15 seconds, then drain off the white water. Followed the instructions and the white rice cooked perfectly.

Cons

This is the 3rd aroma rice cooker i have that boils water from the top. It boils over every time and makes a huge mess. Each time i cook rice it spits out large amount of starch.

And was soon telling everyone it was the best 20 i remember ever spending

Side note i also purchased a rice washer from temu for 53 cents so making rice is super easy now 😁

Packaging/appearance

The unit was packaged well and came with a 234 steamer basket measuring cup equivalent to us ¾ cup a plastic spoon and user manual

Came in original box somewhat beaten up with all original packaging and accessories

Also came with a big dent in the back that we didnt notice on unpacking

Am happy to see that not only is aroma still making them the price is even better than i paid a few years back
