Overall, it’s pretty awesome and i highly recommend. It sounded like it would be the best one available and from my experience so far, it probably is the best. For the price, i am pleased.
The induction cooktop is a great way to use stainless steel cookware. The bottom is large enough to fit a medium sized cast iron skillet. It works well for sautéing veggies, great for rice packs like near east.
I like the timer that bumps the temp to warm. The fan is not loud at all, although if you have someone sleeping with the door open and you went into the next room at night, the fan definitely might wake that person up.
It cleans up easily. Windex does the trick, but so do scrubbing bubbles.
To me, that's kinda scarey knowing somebody might not know this the first time, walk away, and have a mess on their hands. No contest. Drives me crazy.

Every press of a button is coupled with a very loud beep. The beep, when you turn off the machine, is even worse. I keep getting a e0/e6 error, which i know is the error it gets when it has overheated. Changed setting to po3….

Heats up even cheap stainless pots very fast this is a quality stovetop
I was uncertain about this product for my mother in assisted living quarters but having tried it now i am very pleased
One must be very careful with the heat settings on this machine it will burn food within seconds
It is a little noisey with the fan running and the beeps it produces but cooking is noisey in general

It does cook very fast and hot
I was amazed how fast it cooks not unlike cooking with gas

Seems to do the job but i was disappointed to know that conventional cookware such as farberware is not compatible unless it is magnetic

I had planned to use it with my favorite cast iron pan but my pan has a little ridge around its bottom outer edge and also the pan tends to warp at hi heat so that the unit starts to beep and malfunction that was a disappointment but its not the units fault that my pan doesnt maintain even contact with the units surface

It does not replace my electric skillet for omelets and stirfrys for these reasons nor my george forman for searing meats
