Pros
Made 6 meals so far and performed flawlessly. The wok cooks the meat well but do it in small batches or the water will overpower the wok. Lots of room to stir fry.
Cons
Two major issues with this the lid doesn't fit - large caps between the lid and the wok body. Last but not least, this has nothing to do with the product but the shipping method amazon carried out.
The heating element apparently cycles on and off. The temperature knob is inaccurate and in the off position the element still is on.

The heating coil is in the bottom and protects the counter since the base fits over the heating coil

I had to use a flathead to lift the part where the latch goes in to be able to put the base back in
