The holes allow for the sifting of the powdered sawdust. The pine pellets smell great and dissolve with urine.

Cons

It's to short and my kitten can still throw litter out when digging. Wayyyyy too small for my 22lbs cat. There is no cowl for the tow to stop the cat from flipping litter out of it.

This product is absolute garbage! Don’t buy it. The concept is fabulous however the plastic is cheap. It's like the person who designed this never even used a colander.

I took away a star because of the size to cost ratio

The money you save with pellets will more than pay for this pan

A little pricey but i can see this being used for a long time
