Pros
If you live in a sunny southern climate a solar charger would do the trick. Very easy to setup and working well. Functions well even if there is a * or power failure.
Happy w/purchase so far. I have arlo pro 3-4 years ago and it work prefect. Really hope arlo continue to give the 7 day free cloud storage for all other products.
Cons
Im sure the cameras are ok when they work properly but god forbid you encounter an issue. This company is painfully exhausting. The only thing it's good for is to look at the incident afterword's.
It forces a logout after 30 minutes of inactivity with the site. To make the cameras work i have to completely remove and reset the whole system and cameras. Then it just falls off the system in the night and never reconnects again. Tried to reset it ... Read More
The setup of this system is relatively easy, but do not let that fool you; this is a very high maintenance system that requires a lot of maintenance. The motion sensors don't work very well. The activity zones are also a joke.
From what i've seen online, their bad tech support is legion. Support is useless.
Tech support is non-existent and i can't return it. Bought a replacement panels from local retailer, still the same message. Their support team knows little more than to tell you to restart your device.

Even at night when the red light of the night vision comes on its not very noticeable

Cons•the biggest con is that the app will randomly sign you out of your account which prevents any of the motion events that have occurred since the sign out from being captured or recorded
