Pros

My shake siding is large so i didnt want a notched version for vinyl lapped siding. Perfect for installing coach lights on stone walls. Easy to use and allowed installation of light fixture.

Easy to install, specially on brick walls. It solver all mt problems. Easy to spray paint my desired color.

Cons

The name is a misnomer. There are similar models for flat siding, but those are not deep enough toallow one to notch them to fit typical vertical siding either.
