Pros

It is quite stable and well built and stores many oil changes worth of used oil effortlessly. Everything is fabricated out of materials that will hold up under years of service. I really like the wheels and casters.

Simple to use versus the mess of leaky hand operated barrel type pumps. If you're draining anything with a large oil capacity, you'll want to drill out some of the mesh in the bottom of the funnel.

For my modification i used:3, 1/2” npt fittings with 3/4” barb hose end. Npt ball valve, female ends1, conduit hanger #1.

Cons

This is not a horrible product, but really how complex does it have to be to drain oil into it? It fails miserably at everything else. Going to throw it in the dumpster and order a good one. This is the fourth time it has leaked.

This thing is awful it overflows all the time and has no regulator for the drain. It really needs a shutoff valve on the drain hose for more controlled drains.
