Pros

Ariat is known for excellently made boots of fine material. Will definitely be ordering more ariat in the future. Three years after purchasing, these boots remain in good condition, perfectly comfortable and nicely weathered.

The softer compound in the heel, reduces impact to heel when walking. I have “foot drop” and diabetic neuropathy in my left foot and leg.

Roundish toe. I have a bit of a flat foot, so i usually order a wide, but decided to go with a standard size since i thought the leather would probably stretch a bit.

Cons

The heel is really large- clunky and chunky. I have two pair of roper boots and each are 10 1/2 ee, but these ariat felt more like a size 9.

Word of warning print out the ariat sizing chart and measure your foot

After a bit a of research i found the ariat printable sizing chart any my foot measured in at a bit bigger than 11

I bought my first pair of a ariat ropers 20 years ago

Way better than my old justins or sheplers pairs i used to buy

Another pair of ariat boots has lasted almost 10 years having been resoled once and reheeled several times

I do wish i could find an ariat roper in black with a square toe
