Pros

They are so much better than the cheap wire rod holders you get from academy or bass pro. I have no problem opening them enough to go over the gunnel to attach to the boat hull. This rod holder is exactly what i needed and i am very glad i found it.

Can be configured several different ways. Easy to install and fully adjustable. There is also a sliding piece that locks your rod into place.

I do a lot of catfishing and this is just what i needed/wanted. Works well with spin casters and longer spinning rods. Nice secure rod holder holds reel in sideways orientation.

Cons

Not very happy with this product. Locking in rotation device is problem. A little weak on rod holder rotation lock ability.

The clamp is a stury metal and the actual rod holder can be positioned in a ton of ways

Too bad they arent made in the usa
