Pros
It is fast compared to uno, even mega 2560. If you need something faster than the mega this is your best option for prototyping. Atmel-ice debugger with accessories will be needed.
Build and parts are top notch for the italian made due. Appears genuine to me, but i'll leave the final verdict to whomever may read this. Comes with a plastic base and has a neat finishing.

Software spi works fine, but many libraries assume that if it's a due, you're using hardware spi. Searching for due is tricky since it appears much more often as regular english word.
A teensy 3. Board with all the features i needed and wanted. Going to be buying two more of these boards soon and maybe more. Board runs cool with 16v direct into 12v 2. V board. Great little board.
Cons

Im very impressed with the speed and large number of io ports size of ram 2 dac ports among other things
Stay away from low dollar copies and you will not be disappointed
3v not 5v so you need to make sure the shields and other devices you use with the due are 3
Shipping
Due was fast enough and had more than enough ports to easily drive the rgb matrix at very good performance
The large memory size and fast processor speed make even large programs run fast
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was fine and the delivery was prompt
They are incredibly sensitive to the right voltage so be warned dont even think about putting 5v into the aidi

This is required only on the due because you need to erase the flash before uploading a new sketch
