Very impressed with the due, powerful and compact processor board


I am enjoying learning all i can do with the different flavors and this is no different.


I'm very impressed with the speed and large number of i/o ports, size of ram, 2 dac ports, among other things.


And as an added plus, it works with the arduino yun shield (see the arduino.

Shipping


Due was fast enough and had more than enough ports to easily drive the rgb matrix at very good performance.


The large memory size and fast processor speed make even large programs run fast.


First the good, it is fast compared to uno, even mega 2560.

Packaging/appearance


They are incredibly sensitive to the right voltage, so be warned- don't even think about putting 5v into the ai/di.

Competitiveness


I just connected it to my ford focus using a bluetooth adapter and a elm-327 bluetooth module.


I wanted a battery powered board to log high frequency (500hz) analog data.


This board has an 32-bit arm processor, 96kb of sram and 512kb of program memory.

    The bad: it was difficult to lower the power consumption, and even with the chip in deep sleep, there is still about 13ma draw just from the board.

    Also, it's not object-compatible; you have to use the arduino development environment for the due.

    Only prototype device that u can test sam3x from atmel.
