For the longer trips i think it would be important to have a stop where you can refreeze the packs and transfer goods into a fridge for a few days. These are the best, period!

The purple will not frezze in my rv refer and the blue just dose not last long enough to be of much use

In the grand scheme of things plan old water that gets deep frozen in a 11 f freezer will last longer than these ice replacements

But ice makes things wet dont fit in the cooler around things as well and have their own problems

We did not make it the whole 10 days which was knowingly going to be a stretch however these were great for the first 3 to 5 days in keeping our meat eggs cheese oat milk and creamer cold

For the longer trips i think it would be important to have a stop where you can refreeze the packs and transfer goods into a fridge for a few days while you refreeze the packs or it may just be more appropriate to use a 12v fridge in the vehicle instead
