Pros

These are great fans that can daisy chain together. They are compatible with 4 pin motherboard fan headers. The cables can be piggybacked ( or stacked ) in parallel so you can use 2 or more fans per fan outlet.

For clarification, the fan sits on top of the heat sink and not over the cpu directly. Dialed in my temperature curve on the motherboard and done. Keeps both at around 30c under load.



Cons

This is the noisiest fan i have ever installed due to the gimicky design flaws. It just isn't worth it to go through all the trouble of rma and shipping for a cheap fan. I think those counterfeit fans may be the cause of a lot of the 1-star ratings on...  Read More

Two silent versions. One works, three do not. Noise level is the same. Some fans make a sound that resembles the noise from a card and a bicycle wheel spoke.

Fan doesn't start spinning until after the os starts loading. Rubber mounts are too soft causing the fan to drift sideways and the spinning blades to collide with the frame. No protection for reverse polarity.

    Instead i just put a fan there and set it to full speed and it lowered temps by 710c without making my entire system much louder if at all

    Depending on the capability of your motherboards bios the 4 pin slot will either be able to switch to dc from pwm or will stay in pwm mode
