Pros
Easy to install with a small flathead screwdriver.
These work extremely well on my 2005 scion tc. Part fits fine on my 2007 scion tc. Perfect fit to scion tc 2008. Can be installed on any car with a trunklifter.
They work as advertised. Much more lifting power than the originals. Will buy from seller again.
Difficulty closing the door for the first 2 weeks, but dependable. Stayed up just fine. No more headaches.
Cons
These are faulty. I use it like that until it popped off and slammed my trunk down.

The old supports were completely inoperable so i needed a second person to hold the hatch open while i installed the new ones the hatch is pretty heavy and the supports are located in an awkward place if you are also going to be holding open the hatch at the same time

Update i when i got the first pair they did not work yet when the company saw the review they contacted me and offered a solution i honestly did not expect that they have amazing costumer service and the new set works just fine like they should

Nothing to say really the ones before stopped working bought this ones installed them in less than 10 mins with someone to hold the trunk and now i actually have to use force to bring it down

One strut will not hold up the lift gate while you replace the other

I failed to do this or support the hatch properly and it slammed down so hard upon release of the first shock it shattered my glass

There is a small metal clip on each end of the shock
