Worked perfectly to replace old sensor. Cut the wire of the old sensor near the sensor end, cut the new wire and splice the two wires together. Easy to install.
Cons
The pumps continue to cycle on and off until the ambient temperature falls 1° below the threshold set to cycle the pumps on. The pump will then cycle on again until the temperature drops again.

Use waterproof twist or crimp connectors

I wired it all the way to the panel which required shutting off power opening high voltage and control panels snaking the new cable stripping ends connecting to the screw connectors closing everything up and zip tying the new cable to the pipe
