Water leaks through the front of the aqueon quietflow. The filter keeps shutting off randomly. Not an exaggeration.
The filter pad is not dense enough to make much of a difference. Carbon is not evenly disturbed throughout the pad, and there is very little of it.

All this slowed down the flow some but not enough

Tilted shield slightly down to the left now water is skimmed from the surface and forced down to the filter intake
