Pros

Heater appears of quality construction and packaging. Max of 8 degree increase over ambient to 76, om a 60 gallon tank. Takes a few days of playing with, but once you get it set to your tank it holds temp very well.

Very accurate on the dial. No complaints at all. But aqueon has great warranty and customer service.

Cons

When the heating element kicks on they barely glow and only the bottom couple inches. Turns on and off when tank is not at temp. The heater still functions but i’m not will to risk injuring my fish.

Saved at least 3540 by getting this one rather than a big chain retail pet store

Definitely go with this rather then other brands in my opinion aqueton has always been reliable

Ive had cheaper brands and the temps were off or they dont last and your out money
