The unit is compact and quiet. Seems very easy to clean and it’s very simple to setup. An inexpensive solution to a nuisance problem.
Another change is how i affixed the magnets. It stays in place better with a suction cup, 2. It takes a little work to fit the center housing around the cord, and snapping it back together.
Cons
Skimmer killed my bichir. The suction cups are pure junk. The motor works well but the piece of junk will not stay in place.

At this point i’ve had the skimmer roughly 2 weeks running in my 75 gallon

This skimmer really does work well for its size in my 20 gallon planted tank but the suction cups barely last longer than an hour before detaching from the glass

The bobber section at the top rarely gets stuck if the suction cups are keeping everything upright

Works great but the one flaw is that i have to unplug the skimmer every time i feed with floating food or the food get sucked in
