Favourite thing about the upgrade is how much room there is for filter media. This makes it super customizable, whereas with the top fin filter, you’re limited to filter cartridges. Simple, dependable filter.
It does a noticeably effective job of maintaining consistent water quality and vitality over the long term. The sponge even allows for added filtration. Perfect size for 20 gallon aquarium.
Noise level is pretty good. Was hesitating because of contradictory reviews. It's also much quieter than my previous filter. Not sure why its a little noisy but over all, its a great filter.
This filter is amazing! Works very good. Last a long time. Good filter and good price.

You can definitely hear it working but it’s very forgettable

Just dont force things into place whilst assembling as it is plastic and in the grand scheme easily broken

It can push out water quite fast as well but pickles isnt a fan of that
