Pros
The instructions indicate that the rubber gasket goes on the outside of the cap rather than the inside, so just switch it round. The container has a large opening that makes filling with water or dry food a breeze.
Cons
I have to find the sweet spot between over tightening (which causes it to run out of threads and then loosens back up) or under-tightening. Even then there is still leaking. Neat water *, but three out of six leak when horizontal.

I appreciate the selfventing tube but the threads jump easily especially if touched or bumped allowing the spigot to loosen suddenly and leak so we cant store an active container on its side

Spigots onoff valve also stiffened up within weeks making it harder to turn and the additional pressure required to turn the spigot increased the likelihood of making the mounting threads jump causing it to leak

I rings tend to come loose so keep an eye on it

Great idea good storage great stacking idea but the caps are really hard to tighten down far enough so that the jug doesnt leak when its lying on its side
