Pros

This uses peltier cooling, which works by moving heat from one spot to another. Cooling mechanism is almost same as ac, if you use cooling feature, they have to vent out the warmed up air to other place like ac outdoor unit does.

Aqua bed is quieter, does not consume as much water as the chilipad, and has kept me from sweating at night. The aquabed says it can cool down to 55, but realistically 60 is more that gets achieved.

Cons

The aquabed cooling feature worked very well for ~6-8 months. It still makes the pump/circulation sound, and it might be circulating water, but it's sure as heck not cooling.

The usb port in the back is low powered and won't power anything. Tried calling several times, emailing. No response. Got a few automated replies stating i would be contacted within 24hours yet it's been two weeks.
