    The lens which is made from plexisol has superior transparency and strength when compared to glass but what really makes this mask stand out is that objects are seen in nearly full size without the 13 magnification of typical dive masks with glass lens

    Everything has a trade off and yes as some reviewers have pointed out the lens are prone to scratch and the very light construction of these masks gives them a shorter life losing its seal over time and the lens will pop out if not equalized properly or after a lot of use
