Advertised as 1/2 mpt x 1/ 2 mpt. This item hums like an old unit with it's spring going out. The problem is that my water heater is almost impossible to reach from the back.

I had to replace my camper water heater and the check valve in the unit was too poor to use on the new heater

Couldn’t get the old one off so i added this one inline with some jerry rigging

Used this to replace the flimsy plastic check valve that cracked just behind the threads going into the hot water outflow
