Pros
Bought this as an upgrade to a lesser and malfunctioning humidistat. Works as advertised and the instructions are very good.
Humidity in the house is great. My furnace has a special connection for the humidifier which simplified things a bit. I like that it gives you the option to monitor the outside temp through the supplied thermistor.
It was mounted with four screws and sealed with a large rectangular foam gasket. The new model requires an independent 24v transformer be in the hh loop in order to activate the solenoid. No jumper is needed.
