First the water feed is pex the inserts to make rigid ends for the joints with copper compression fitting they were very tight to insert

Bad points does not include self tapping metal screws to fasten the unit andor humidistat to your ductwork

I also installed a ball valve and copper tubing instead of the supplied saddle valve with poly tube to make a permanent leakproof connection
