Pros

It is very easy to configure and use. Reminds me of the old ibm product, user interface and setup is similar. They are really easy to setup as well, just follow the instructions and don't forget your pin!

Mouse jiggler works perfectly on a mac and a laptop. Power saving settings on the usb port it is plugged into work fine.

The company & product you will want to go to. Anything stored on one of these devices can be assured to be secure. If i leave the company, boss enters his pin and i get to take my drive with me without fear of stealing company data.

Cons

Apricorn aegis padlock 2 tb hard drive runs very hot for some reason. The drive performs very very poorly. Very disappointing overall.

I have 3 seagate drives which are usb attached they never get disconnected. The drive constantly goes in sleep mode and therefore offline. There is no mention of this in aegis documentation that a power-shell script must be installed on all pcs to dis... Read More

So far works great easy to set up fast transfer and doesnt feel cheap or like it would break if i dropped it definitely recommend

Easy to use and works between win10 and linux system with no issues

Enter the pin i gave my boss and the drive gets wiped and is unrecoverable

Well the durn thing would lock up so frequently that it was useless and i had thought that i had wasted my money

Still prefer western digital drives over seagate
