I like the aluminum a lot as its not just cheap painted plastic

Overall its a great stand to really organize everything

As another reviewer noted the lightning cable does tend to move on you as you put the phone on the stand to charge it which is kind of annoying but it can only move down so far since the cabling can only bunch up so much
