I dont charge my old macbook pro very often because it doesnt get much use but the charger has always worked fine

The magsafe link is similar to the apple charger in that it will be orange when charging and green when charged

The cord is rather short but this an extension cord is still cheaper than the official charger and it doesnt get as hot
