Pros

Ipod photo is almost flawless. Comes as close as possible to perfection. It beats others hands-down.

I like my music nice and loud and this more than quenches my thirst for that. The sound quality and design are unsurpassed. I like the way the ipod organizes all of your music.

Cons

The 30gb has way too many flaws and bugs. The worst thing that plagues the i-pod is the battery life. The itunes sw makes my computer freeze and like others have said, it continuously states do not disconnect.

I have used about 17gog so with the 30gig ipod i will never have to worry about running out of space

What i did was to wrap it in wrapping plastic usually used in the kitchen to wrap food as soon as i got it out of the package

I went to the apple store picked up a firewire cable and it worked like a champ

The recent lowering in prices for ipod technology makes this a price within many peoples budgets

Scope because of the price drop on the color models this review will be targeted to those struggling over a 20gig bw screen vs

Prior to that i have owned both a 20gb 3g ipod and a 40gb 4g ipod i use it with a win xp laptop
