Extra usb and firewire ports are nice, but i wish apple could have put more than 2 usb ports on it. Winacd helps enormously when using it with a windows pc. And usb ports and unobtrusive touch switches for power and brightness.
Cons
No amount of calibration will ever remedy this problem. The color inconsistency and backlighting problems with the two monitors are a big problem if you plan to do serious photo editing.

I really love this monitor but i had to take one star out because apple has major quality control problems
Packaging/appearance
Heavy stickers were placed all on the outside with great outside protective packaging too
I have had mine for a month and it has been near perfect right out of the box
There are some scratches on the bottom of the frame but nothing on the screen itself

It would be hard to find a better highquality monitor for colorcritical graphics work
According to a viewsonic rep however it wont launch till february 13
The colors are terrific the mouse works seamlessly across the laptop screen and the big auxilliary screen
