Considering the price and the fact that i used it for a project that needed a hefty stapler i am very happy with this product

I was hesitant to buy this only because its hard to tell the quality of an item by the picture
I have to say the instructions are very sparse and i never could figure out how to use the strip of nails that came with the staple gun

I finally just threw those out and used the traditional square staples

I have had no problem putting a variety of staples into plywood and 2x4s though i had some trouble with some harder waferboardtype material

I thought the black part of the stapler was plastic

You can use it for woodwork depending on the type of woodwork but i wouldnt use it to pin messages on bulletin boards

Also be sure to use the right staples or itll jam up the gun and probably even damage it permanently
