Work as advertised. Exceeded my expectations. It works if you don't overload it.
Cons
One hanger jammed after three months of using these hangers. The ratchet mechanism looks to be made of an inexpensive white metal. Without a solid grip, i fear the light can come crashing down.

We did have one break on us but i am pretty sure it was a fluke deal

We had some really crazy winds going on and i think that the hanger that broke just hit the edge of our rain gutters or fascia just right and it broke the carabiner away from the ratchet housing on the hanger
