Pros
The bow is very nice and accepts rosin well. It's a bit time-consuming if one is a newbie like me, but my daughter and i have been able to get some nice sounds out of it once properly tuned and the bow tightened.
Cons
This violin is terrible. Not for the instrument.

Sizing aside this is not bad for a beginning violin except that you will need to watch a youtube video or something to get you started

But these low end instruments are for beginners if they decide they dont like it its not a lot of money invested for practice doesnt matter if they get scratched up to be left at the school locker if they get stolen its not that big of a deal etc

String instruments are a bit more complicated and you can clearly see where they cut some corners on this
