It makes changing brakes, oil, etc. Easier. Gone are the days of laying on a creeper under a tight cramped space. Arms do flex when lifting heavy vehicles like diesel pickups.
From a 7000 lb 99 dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 to a 300 lb riding mower. Definitely need to have under vehicle jack stands when lifting up pickup truck. It's fine considering that my pickup is the heaviest thing i'll ever put on it.
Cons
It should be rated for around 7,000 pounds. The ce certification is a joke it a european certified lift.

Everything seems to be wellmade and even extra heavy duty
I have owned many lifts the overall quality seems fine
Very poorly structured and will require some personal mechanical inclination to decipher
The locks are cables you pull down on each side of the lift

Good price and great value for the price and easy to install
I was worried about this being so cheap but i have to say that i am very happy with the purchase so far
Has more than paid for itself in under a month
Ive used my apluslift 4 times and it has already paid for itself in what i would have paid in dealership labor cost

Its a very well made piece of equipment and costs thousands less than the name brand lifts
Did a lot of research on several brands at 9k or 10k
If i were using this every day all day for my main lift id consider a name brand one instead
