Pros
Filter removes chlorine and chloramines from the tap water. Water has the great nyc flavor yet we do have concerns about the lack of sheerness of the water. I'm curious about the charcoal getting through though.

Apec fi-cs-2500p is what the factory-installed filter was labeled. Used this to replace an old discontinued ge model. No leaks. Works with any faucet.
Cons
Plumbing, ya know, is often where men's good language fades. We have well water and my family complains endlessly about how bad our water tastes. The chlorine smell lingers unless you run it for over a minute which wastes more filtration.

Really happy with this filter and even better that it is a us company and assembled in the usa
After purchasing another under sink brand that had nonstandard fittings i chose this one because of standard 3834 supply lines
By comparison the apec uses heavy duty supply lines and sold brass fittings resulting in a zero leak product
