Pros

Super easy to install. Only unknown is longevity of new battery. Keep all the original packing material and go to apc website to get your ups label.

This is longer than any other brand of batteries. Their quality is far superior to the others and worth the minor marge more in cost.

The battery pack was delivered on time and in good condition. Came as pictured. Quick shipment. Free overnight shipping.

Cons

The ad reads apc rbc7 replacement battery cartridge no 7 that it is an apc battery, in fact says not to accept any substitutes (see below) the seller says it's amazon who has mislisted the item and have asked amazon to correct it.

The icing on the cake is their software--laughably awful. Doesn't inspire confidence in the product. If the batter melts, the battery with the excessups label melts.

I'm done with apc, frankly. That means the battery lasted 2 1/2 years. What's a dumb decision? Not any longer.

What is the point of buying a battery powered backup power supply if the battery is completely worthless after 1 power outage? I've just cancelled my order for a replacement battery and am going to get a different ups instead -- for a few more bucks, ... Read More

2ah or 7ah batteries are made in vietnam as well and are very good quality and can be shipped to my address

This went right in to a customer’s apc smartups 1500 battery backup and worked great

At least not for the decades ive used apc products
