The design of the unit keeps the plugs under the desk to keep things tidy. Suspending the cables allows for slack, which naturally compensates for mismatching lengths.
It doesn't grip the desk but since it doesn't get budged much, it ends up being fine. My only complaint with it is that the spring loaded mechanism to'secure' it to whatever it's being attached to doesn't really ensure a'snug' connection. Some ability... Read More
Talk about instance gratification. Essentially it does what it sets out to do.
Cons
The clamp has barely any tension and does a terrible job securing the product to a desk. The inner shell that will * up against the clamped surface is not a flat surface. The power strip is not retained well at all.

Wanted to go ahead and get this one to connect a bluetooth speaker via usbc as well as moving all my networking gear on to a single unit

They need to be angled off to the sides so both can be plugged into a single outlet

We have 3 of these two with 4 usb typea ports and another with 2 usb typea1 usbc
