With 10mm socket remove bolt from side member and them 2 nuts from other end right in side of door panel

After that you do you have to remove the entire door panel

There are clips all around edge of the panel 15 or so

When you pull of the panel there may be some clips that stay in the holes in the metal part of the door

These can pulled out with a clip puller and put back in their slot on the panel before you reinstall the panel to the door

Put new checkarm on through access hole and then do all the steps above in reverse order to put back together

Check that it might be just the bolts are loose my problem a few months ago till the assembly finally cracked
