The aoyue 852a has a pump pulling air from the suction tool assembly. If you're doing smd soldering with solder paste, it's very easy to just hold the component with tweezers.

The suction tool is useless just remove it

This is an awesome and affordable hot air station
You have hakko at 800 and quick dw at 270 then there is this little diamond in the rough at 130
This unit was more money than the other 50 unit i had

Didnt have to open the box because it fell apart

This model is very similar to the one we use daily in the lab at work so i bought one for home use
The aoyue 852a has been demonstrated online to stand up from a performance perspective to both of the previous mentioned hot air stations
I purchased a different hot air station before this one one of those with the fan in the handle
This unit does a better job at 350 than the other one did turned the whole way up

I may just upgrade the transformer because it makes a loud 60hz hum even when everything is off as is pictured

The cons are it takes some space from your working station my friend is used to the smaller fan beforeand the noise it does work loudly
