The compact sized is nice for carrying but difficult for me to use. Nice packaging and nice product. Don't be a fool, buy these tools.
Cons
Spark stik is glued on to magnesium and came came off first try. The adhesive keeping the flint to the magnesium bar seems weak. The striker itself is very small and does a horrible job showering sparks, or scraping the mag shavings off.

Quite simply this ferrocerium fire starter does what its supposed to and you get two for the price of one
For the price i didnt have high expectations but i was pleasantly surprised

Came right on time for our camping trip and used to teach my 4 year old how to start fire from scratch

I packed this with waterproof matches and a tin full of mg shavings
I usually kept it in a ziploc bag to at least contain any spills but it really wasnt preferable
