Pros
Great fire starter kit. Works surprisingly well. The fire rope works well and the compass.
You just have to remove (scratch off) oxidation layer from the top. Shower of sparks is very large, covers a good area, and are very hot. Every strike, sparks and i get fire.
Cons
These are way too small to create an ignition. It's obvious to me now that they had magnesium previously scraped off in the pile of wood. I'm not sure how this junk received some high ratings.
