Pros
Tape is well constructed and the edges are clean, no jagged lines in the roll. My linoleum floor is 60+ years old and recently became dangerously slippery.
Snowstorms required the steps to be shoveled. I have an 11 y/o golden retriever that has bad arthritis in her back hips.
It has great adhesion in both hot sun and freezing temps. They glow well throughout the night, but definitely more visible if you're not stepping from bright light into the dark. Glow pic from when first installed.
While frowned upon by the akc & cpe, it works far better than expected!
Cons
The product is not normal safety/caution yellow. Installation was a breeze, but of the 20 strups laid, only 7 remain. I needed something for my aging dog's paws to grip onto, this is not it.

It lasted for a few years being stepped on shoveled and salted and packages carded over it before it started to give

We have these on unfinished deck stairs exactly where they are not recommended for use so im only going to comment on their grip and glow

They did not survive unscathed when we needed to shovel the stairs but that may be a function of being used on untreated wood where they dont stick well

The company would do better making a thicker product that can be attached to surfaces other than smooth flat ones but this works for now
