If you do it causes a grey film to form on the steel and that comes off onto your hands and your ice cream

The only complaint i have is that it came kind of dirty looking like they made the item and threw it in the box without polishing it or anything watermarks on it and the edges were grated down

Do yourself a favor and throw away those old scoopers with the little lever thats supposed to swipe the ice cream out

The only other reviewer so far on this product mentied having an issue with it after he ran it through the dishwasher

The problem comes only if you dont follow the care instructions no dishwasher and do not submerge in hot water
