So my mp3 player that has a miniusb female socket or my nook tablet and samsung tablet that has a proprietary connection and other rechargeble devices like electric toothbrush or hair clippers cannot be used in conjunction with this

Initially it seems to work fine but the battery indicator on the battery pack goes out
