I had my husband look over it and the directions it comes with a piece to check and make sure the shock factor is working he over looked that and shocked himself i dont think he believed it did much but he can tell you know he was very wrong

If my dog leroy brown is getting into something he shouldnt then that beep is typically enough to sorta freak him out a bit to want to back off
