Pros
Easy setup, just need batteries. I live in an rv and have nothing hardwired. Comes with an adhesive strip and batteries.
Cons
The doorbell part appears to be cheaply made. There were no aa nor aaa batteries included in the box. Also, the batteries are very hard to insert and remove. Missing battery and adhesive patch.
The transmitter button lights up, but the receiver doesn't. The two pieces are only 10 feet apart, and it can't reliably maintain the connection. This has an option for a flashing light only.

I had a couple of requirements for my doorbell needs a lightsonly mode needs to be battery operated for both the transmitter and receiver using ac power limits where you can put the receiveri needed the receiver soundvisual doorbell to not be bound by using a power outlet as i need to place it on my desk while im working during the day

The button the doorbell you put outside for people to ring has a battery compartment that has to be pried off with a small screwdriver

There is a wide variety of tunes to select from but one must press the button listen press again to hear the next one and if you go past the one you want you have to go all the way around again there’s no way to go directly to number 13 except to go on thru all 16 and then start over again
