It has an automatic cut out so don’t think it is broken it just needs to be turned upside down out of the sun for a few seconds and then turned back again to get the motor working again

The only down side was the funnel fitting sat on the fountain but the different heads didn’t clip on to it properly so we had to stick to the straight head option
